Genitive Case

Dentro do dialeto inglês, o caso genitivo existe para demonstrar uma relação de propriedade, família, razão, ou mesmo início. O caso genitivo é idêntico ao "de" em português, sendo falado dentro do dialeto inglês pela utilização da pontuação + s em coisas comuns ou apropriadas que são revigorantes. Como regra, a relação é entre indivíduos e/ou coisas.

É excepcionalmente comum para os aprendizes de dialeto inglês insistir em confundir com a estrutura do quadro possessivo, considerando dentro da lógica do dialeto português, onde a propriedade é comunicada pela palavra relacional "de".
