verbo to be was were afirmativo negativo e interrogativo e a regras? alguém sabe? por favor ;)

was e were são to verbo be (ser ou estar) NA FORMA do tempo VERBAL do passado (ou pretérito).
was (singular) usado para os pronomes I, he, she, it.
para os demais pronomes (they, you...) se usa o were (plural)

Michael and Michelle were walking.
was there.

interrogativo

were you in market?
was i in school yesterday?

vai pro começo da frase


e quando tiver question word (what,when,who,how...) vai pra segunda como

Where were you yesterday?
where was i last night?


afirmativo foi o primeiro exemplo lá em cima.



negativo acresenta o not

was not = wasn't

were not weren't
