Completando a crossword puzzle com os verbos no passado corretos para as sentenças, temos:

1- The weekend was kind of boring. We didn't do anything special.

Para responder essas perguntas, é preciso entender as frases. Como estão escritas em inglês, procure o assunto principal de cada uma a fim de escolher o verbo correto. Vamos às opções:

1- O fim de semana foi meio chato. Não fizemos nada de especial. O passado do verbo to be, por ser irregular, é was para as pessoas I, She, He, It e were para You, We e They.

2-Escrevi uma mensagem de texto para Mary, mas ela não respondeu. Write também é um verbo irregular, por isso no passado ele muda para wrote.

3-Visitamos o Museu do Prado em Madrid. Visit é um verbo regular, portanto, é só acrescentar o ed ao final da palavra (visited).

4-Eu estava cansado, então acordei tarde e não fui para o meu treino de natação. Wake é irregular, portanto, no passado, ficará woke.

5- Comprei uma bela camiseta para você na Itália. Espero que você goste. Buy também é irregular, ficando na forma passada como bought.

6-Vimos um filme na TV. See é irregular, portanto ficará saw.

7-Meu irmão e eu ficamos doente então não fomos à escola na segunda-feira. Go é irregular, no passado torna-se went (a tradução literal para o verbo é "ir", mas em algumas situações ele é traduzido como "ficar de uma determinada maneira".

8-Dormi na casa de um amigo ontem à noite. Sleep também é irregular. Seu passado será slept.

9-Minha família e eu fomos para o Rio de Janeiro. Nós tivemos um tempo maravilhoso lá! O verbo have é irregular, tornando-se had no tempo passado.
