A gravidade é uma força natural que existe desde o princípio do universo, porém apesar de sempre existir e atuar sobre os corpos, quem pela primeira vez a descreveu a partir de uma lei foi Isaac Newton (1642-1727) em sua Lei da Gravitação Universal.
