Write sentences talming about things that needed fixing at your house and how they were repaired. The example will help you.
Example: The grass needed cutting, but we didn't have a lawnmower. So, we hired a gardener.

"The floor of the living room needed to be clean so that my family and I could walk through this room, because it was really dirty. So, we had to use the broom and house floor cloth to clean it."

1. The walls needed painting, but we didn't have time. So, we hired a painter.

2. The plumbing needed new tubes, but we didn't have tools. So, we hired a plumber.

3. The circuit needed changing, but we didn't know about electrical. So, we hired a eletricist.

4. The refrigerator needed replacing, but we didn't know how. So, we hired a "do it all" to put the new refrigerator in place.

5. The sofa needed renovating, but we couldn't do it. So, we hired a seamstress.
