USE between OR among:

1- Where is your son? He is ____ the children.
2- Who is that woman ____ the boy and the girl?
3- There are a lot of books in the car.
Your tapes are ____ the books.
4- The grocery store is ____ the building and the drugstore.
5- The school. is ____ the movie theater and the snack bar.

Between usamos geralmente quando se está entre duas pessoas/coisas, enquanto among serve para indicar que está no meio de várias pessoas/coisas. Mas para não confundir, saiba que quando indicamos TODAS as pessoas/coisas que estão próximas, enumerando-as, usamos between, enquanto AMONG serve quando não citamos nenhuma delas (ou seja, generalidades).

1- Where is your son? He is among the children. 
2- Who is that woman between the boy and the girl?
3- There are a lot of books in the car.
    Your tapes are among the books.
4- The grocery store is between the building and the drugstore. 
5- The school is between the movie theater and the snack bar.
6- The peaches are among the oranges in the basket.
7- There´s a doughnut between the pizza and the cake.
8- The jar is between the glass and the bottle
