On my last vacation, I went to Venezuela with my family and grandparents. Since they like to go sightseeing, we have agreed to go by car and bus. It was such a really long trip, because the time in the vehicles took up more than half of the entire journey. As my mom likes souvenirs to hold onto, she picked up some rocks off the roads and my dad took some pictures along the way. 
We had decided not to plan a travel itinerary due to my grandfather's mindset, which claimed that it would have pushed us into sticking to the plan as well as taking the fun out of the trip, because we would have not been able to explore thing that were not well-known, such as hidden caves or all the typical attractions.
When we get there, we went shopping and bought many things as a result of the devaluation of the local currency. We couldn't have gone far away from the border city because we have run out of gas and money. Therefore, we had to leave before going to any museums.
