Alguem pode me dar uma conclusao sobre past continuous e present continuous pfv

O simple past: é formado acrescentando o ED no final de cada verbo, mas só pode acrescentar o ED aos verbos regulares.

Pass - Passed
Talk- talked
Wait- waited

Por outra parte os verbos regulares tem a própria conjugação quando são passados ao simple past.

Go- went
Do - did
Make- made
Meet - met

O past continuous.

é formado com o verbo to be no passado ( was / were ) mais o ING que se acrescenta no final do verbo.

I was watching television

We were playing cards yesterday.

I listening to music

was / were mais ing

Listen - Listening

Play - playing

Watch - Watching

O past continuous é usado para açoes em progresso.

I was taking photos

I was playing basketball
