No, I wouldn't. Knowing that the American Dream concept is deeply entangled with the self-made man concept, I cannot see myself trying to fit in that ethos that I know for sure is only meant to be achieved by a few selected individuals who are going to perpetuate the unachievable goal to the upcoming generations. By perpetuating said dreams, the future generations are doomed to fail trying to be like the ones they look up to. It is saddening that most people cannot break with this sickening, deep rooted life goal that makes most Americans, and those who want a taste of that bittersweet dream, feel defeated by life.

Hi!
First of all, what's ? The American Dream is the belief that anyone, regardless of where they were born or what class they were born into, can attain their own version of success in a society where upward mobility is possible for everyone. The American Dream is achieved through sacrifice, risk-taking and hard work, not by chance.
So, answering the question I wouldn't like to live in to live the American dream.
Bye bye!!
