Jane Austen was a prominent English writer. The irony that he used to describe the characters of his novels puts it among the classics, given their acceptance, even nowadays, being constantly the object of academic study, and reaching a wide audience.
Born in Steventon, Hampshire, from a family belonging to the agrarian nobility, her situation and environment served as context for all her works, whose theme revolves around the protagonist's marriage. The innocence of Austen's works is only apparent, and can be interpreted in several ways.
