Frases interrogativas com o verbo no passado precisam do auxiliar "did" o verbo permanece no presente. Se a questão fosse negativa tem que utilizar o didn't ou did not (é utilizado em frases que o autor quer provocar um estresse). Nas questões negativas sempre use quando quiser transformar a frase no passado o uso do auxiliar didn't.
