Fill in the blanks using the verbs in parentheses in the Present Perfect Simple or Continuous.

When we want to talk about actions or situations which started in the past and have continued up to the present, we often use perfect tenses. The Present Perfect Continuous is used for more temporary actions and situations. It emphasizes the continuation of the activity. The Present Perfect Simple is used for more permanent actions and situations. It is often used to express the idea of completion: to say that an action has just been finished, or to talk about its results. We can't use the Present Perfect Continuous with stative verbs.
