1) No. According to the thext, her brother think she is weird, for the fact the she spends a lot of time in the library, which we can realise they do no think it´s ok.

2) It´s very interesting. Michelle seems to feel realy good about herself when she is the library reading, due to the fact that she do not realise as the time goes, because she gets really entertained in the books, which is something really positive.
