QUESTÃO 9 Passive voice is a form that consists in two parts: to be + past participle of the main verb. The verb to be has to be appropriate according to the tense, therefore, to be indicates if it’s present, past or future. Read the following: She Will Be Loved - Maroon 5 I drove for miles and miles And wound up at your door I've had you so many times but somehow I want more I don't mind spending everyday Out on your corner in the pouring rain Look for the girl with the broken smile Ask her if she wants to stay a while And she will be loved And she will be loved
Taking the lyrics into account, analyze the following statements.
I. “She will be loved” is an example of future passive voice because of the use of “will”
II. The sentence “I drove for miles and miles” is on the active voice. If I wanted to change to passive voice, it would be “Miles and miles were driven by me”.
III. The sentence “She will be loved” is in the passive voice because we don’t know who the subject is.
IV. If the subject was known, the sentence could be completed with “by” ou could be written on the active form. It is correct what is stated on:
