Explicação:

Ambos os termos são usados para expressar alternativas, mas só if é usado com condições e suposições. Em todas essas situações, ao usarmos whether, não precisamos necessariamente explicitar todas as alternativas, elas ficam subentendidas e são sempre delimitadas.

SE USAR WHETER NÃO USE "OR NOT".
