Small and skinny
I am fourteen and very sad because I am small and skinny. I eat a lot and I don’t understand why I don’t gain weight. Sometimes I pig out, but it makes no difference to my weight. My legs are like two matchsticks! I hate miniskirts and leggings because of that. In almost every magazine I read about how to lose weight, but I can’t find any suggestion about my problem. What can I do to put on some weight?
I hope to get an answer soon.

Terribly shy…
My problem may be silly, but it’s ruining my life. I am terribly shy and it makes me feel very embarrassed and depressed. I can’t talk to people that are more popular, more confident or more handsome than me. I also feel embarrassed when I have to speak up in front of my class and talk to girls. I try to be natural, but I blush and get scared in such situations. My voice doesn’t come out. My parents just tell me I’ll grow out of it, but I’m not so sure. What can I do? Are there any books I can read to help me?
Answer soon, please.
