a)
Se for de 2º grau:

4 - x² = 4x
0 = 4x - 4 + x²
0 = x² + 4x - 4
x² + 4x - 4 = 0
a = 1; b = 4; c = - 4

Δ = b² - 4ac
Δ = 4² - 4.1.(- 4)
Δ = 16 + 16
Δ = 32
√Δ = √32 = √16.√2 = 4√2

x = - b +/- √Δ = - 4 +/- √32
          2a               2.1

x = - 4 + 4√2 = - 4 + 4√2  =  - 2 + 2√2
         2             2    2

x = - 4 - 4√2 = - 2 - 2√2
           2

b) Se for de 1º grau:

 4 - x = 4x
4 = 4x + x
4 = 5x
5x = 4
x = 4/5

juliavfonseca: Man, isso não tem nada a ver com a conta
Anônimo: então, ele disse que era: 4 - x² = 4x
Anônimo: se não for, vira de 1º grau e é a de baixo...
