A crow landed on a tree with a good piece of cheese in its beak.
Attracted by the smell of cheese, a fox approached the tree.
With a lot of desire to eat that cheese, and unable to climb the tree, after all, it had no wings, the fox decided to use his intelligence for his own benefit.
"Good morning, my friend, Raven!" Said the fox.
The crow looked at her and saluted with a shake of the head.
"I heard that the nightingale has the most beautiful corner of the entire forest." But I bet you, my friend, do sing, would make it better than any other animal.
Feeling challenged and wanting to prove their value, the crow opened its beak to sing. That's when the cheese fell out of his mouth and went straight to the floor.
The fox picked up the cheese and thanked the crow:
__ Next time friend, beware of flattery!
Moral of the story: Be wary of sycophants, they always take advantage of the situation to take advantage of you.
