Forte dos Andradas is located at the tip of Munduba, south of the island of Santo Amaro, state of São Paulo, Brazil. Territorially, it is part of the municipality of Guarujá, between the neighborhoods of Tombo and Jardim Guaiuba.

Initially called Munduba Fort, it was the last large fixed defensive structure built in the country, forming a system with the Itaipu Fort, in defense of access to the port of Santos, at the time the largest export port in Brazil, even surpassing the port of Rio de Janeiro.
