Second Conditional  

São orações condicionais que expressam uma possibilidade ou ação, que também aconteceria no futuro, mas essa situação é mais improvável.

Formado da seguinte forma:

If+ simple past + would, could, might, should + infinitivo  

Exemplo: If we liked her, we would invite her (Se gostássemos dela, teríamos a convidado). Nesse exemplo, não tem como eu gostar da pessoa, por isso, não teria como convidá-la nunca, essa situação é quase improvável.
