A HIDDEN TREASURE
Once upon a time, there was a poor shepherd. He lived in the mountains and his name was Dumberg. He had no family and his only friend was Tramp, an old dog. One night, Dumberg dreamed that there was a hidden treasure under a bridge near the gate of a huge castle. There was a statue of an eagle on top of the gate. In the beginning, Dumberg did not believe his dream, but he thought about it many times. One morning, he woke up very early, went to the market and sold all his sheep. “Let´s go after our dream treasure, Tramp!” he said to his dog. After walking around the world for many years, Dumberg saw a huge castle. “There it is, Tramp!” he said. “Look at the bridge! Look at the eagle! We have found it!”. The bridge, however, was well guarded. The poor shepherd and his dog stayed in front of the castle for several days and several nights. One day, a guard approached him and asked, “What are you doing here, good man?” What are you waiting for?” The shepherd told his dream to the guard and said: “I have been to many places, I have seen too many faces, I have suffered hunger and cold, But I think I will be rich Before I get too old.” The guard laughed a lot. “That was just a dream, good man. Once I dreamed that there was a hidden treasure inside the house of a poor shepherd. His name was Dumberg. Dumberg! That´s funny! Nobody is called Dumberg.” The guard laughed again and told the poor shepherd to go home. Dumberg smiled and went home where he found the hidden treasure. Everybody has a hidden treasure. You have a hidden treasure. Sometimes you have to go around the world to find out that your treasure is very near you.
