\large\bm{3\left(x - 7\right)  = 2\left(x + 1\right) - 16} \\\\ \large\bm{}3x - 21 = 2\left(x + 1\right)  - 16  \\\\ \large\bm{}3x - 21 = 2x + 2 - 16 \\\\ \large\bm{}3x - 21 = 2x - 14 \\\\ \large\bm{}3x - 21 - 2x =  - 14 \\\\ \large\bm{}3x - 2x =  - 14 + 21 \\\\ \large\bm{}x =  - 14 + 21 \\\\ \bm{\large\boxed{\boxed{  { \large  \bm{ x = 7 }}}}}

{\large\boxed{\boxed{  { \large \bm{ Bons~Estudos} }}}}
