I had a bad day last week. Just one of those days were most things don't go your way. I had planned to go to my sister's place to have dinner with them, just a small family gathering. However, at work, there was a huge problem with one of our clients, so when I got home, it was already later than I had thought I would be. I texted my sister to warn her, but she told me it was still ok to go. My parents were there, along with my aunt and uncle, but dinner hadn't been served yet and I didn't need to worry. 
So I took a fast shower, dressed up in some comfortable clothes and went out, confident that I could get in time to eat with everyone. Except I had forgotten to fill up the tank of my car. Well, not enough reason to worry, I could always get an Uber, which is what I did. Unfortunately for me, a car accident had happened in the main avenue of my city, producing an enormous traffic jam. At that point, I was halfway the distance to my sister's place and almost two hours late, so I called her, told them to not wait for me, but to please save some food, as I would get there as soon as I could. That ended up being three hours late after I had given up on the uber and just walked over to my sister's because it was faster. I had a good time with my family, but next time I will look up information about the traffic before going out!
