David is very sad, because she always helps him in the school tasks. “Don’t stop studying hard” says David. “Ok, David, and so do you. Keep listening to your grandfather. His advices have been really very useful for you.” Kate suggests. “Bye,” says David, kissing her face. “Bye”, says Kate, holding him tightly. O Futuro Simples mostra uma ação que ainda vai ocorrer, no futuro. Ele é formado tanto pelo uso do verbo auxiliar will quanto pelo "going to". O will tem a seguinte estrutura:

• Sujeito  +   will   + verbo principal   + restante da frase.
•   He     +  will    +          study          +  every day.

O going to usa o verbo To Be seguindo do verbo "go" em gerúndio (com a terminação "ing") e do "to". Veja a estrutura:

•  They       +          are            +   going to        +  travel to the USA next year.

A diferença de uso entre will e going to é sutil, mas vamos a elas:

Usa-se o will para:

Usa-se o going to quando:

Interpretação de texto

A última questão faz perguntas sobre o texto. Nele, vemos, o relacionamento entre dois amigos, David e Kate, que se ajudam com relação aos estudos. Eles acabam se separando porque Kate precisou se mudar para ajudar uma tia que ficou doente. Ao se despedirem, David dá o seguinte conselho:
