⟩⟩ O verbo to be no passado é representado por duas formas que são >> Was e Were << essas formas servem para indicar (algo) que no passado 'era' ou 'estava'.

⟩⟩ Podemos fazer a forma Negativa após acrescentar o 'not' depois das formas past: veja exemplos;

• I was not a good person.
• She was not a teacher.
• You were not cool.

⟩⟩ E também se pode fazer sentenças interrogativas quando colocamos as formas past antes do sujeito principal da frase; veja exemplos;

• Was I a good person ?
• Was she a teacher ?
• Were you cool ?
