My name’s Lucy and I’m 40. I have a 12-year-old son, Rick, and we live in a big city. But my childhood was much different than his. I was a child in the 1980’s, and I used to live in a small town. The school was near my house and I used to walk to school with my friends Sandra and Tina. After school, I used to do my homework and, after doing the homework, I could play outside. I didn’t use to watch much TV or play video games like my son does now, I preferred to ride my bike, play volleyball and chat with my friends. I used to return home only at 6 p.m.! Parents didn’t use to worry so much like we do now because it was safer.
