Aula – 14/08 (4º período)

Para fazermos a forma NEGATIVA precisamos usar o verbo AUXILIAR (DO/DOES) mais o NOT. Usamos o DO NOT (DON’T) diante do sujeito da frase (I, YOU, WE, THEY) e DOES (DOESN’T) diante do sujeito (HE, SHE, IT). Observe que DON’T e DOESN’T são abreviações.

Observe nos exemplos das frases:

 

AFFIRMATIVE                                                         NEGATIVE

I open the door.                                           I do not (don’t) open the door.

You open the door.                                      You do not (don’t) open the door.

He opens the door.                                    He does not (doesn’t) opens the door.

She opens the door.                                  She does not (doesn’t) opens the door.

It opens the door.                                      It does not (doesn’t) opens the door.

We open the door.                                       We do not (don’t) open the door.

You open the door.                                      You do not (don’t) open the door.

They open the door.                                     They do not (don’t) open the door.
