* No passado simples, toda vez quer for negativo coloca-se o "did not" na frente do verbo e o verbo que estava no passado volta para forma principal.

exemplo:

verbo/ Passado

Play/  Played

I did not play the piano.

Pode-se usar a forma abreviativa

did not= didn't
