They were built for the bodies of the pharaohs after they

widest point. King Khufu's body is there. People think that
the pyramid shape helped the pharaohs climb to the sky

worked for more than twenty years to build the Great
Pyramid. More than two million stones were used. The
stones were very large and very heavy. How were they
