Tense Simple Present Indicative corresponds to the present in Portuguese . We use it to express universal truths , scientific facts or nature. We also used to talk about habitual actions that are routine , repeated in the present. In this case usually follow the verb with adverbs and expressions of frequency that give greater specificity to the idea of the sentence , as always ( sempre) Often (frequentemente ) , never (nunca) , every day ( todos os dias) , sometimes (as vezes) and etc.
