The world will be better place in a hundred years, optimists says.
Life will be more comfortable than today.
Computers, the most sophisticated machines, will do much of our work.
We will have time for sports and entertainment. Cities will not continue to grow. People will live in
smaller communities and everybody will be happier.
Pollution, one of the worst problems today, will be a thing of the past in a hundred years.
The air in the cities, will be cleaner, so people will be healthier than they are today.
Rio de Janeiro will again be one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Brazil, the largest country in
the Southern Hemisphere, will also be one of the richest in the world.
Optimists say all these things will happen in a hundred years. But we´ll never know. We won´t be
here.

O futuro é simples: há duas formas de descrevê-lo, usando o "going to" ou o "will/won't"
Mas como no seu texto tem apenas o uso do Will, vou explicar sobre esse.
Usamos o "Will/won't" para falar de fatos do futuro que acreditamos que vai acontecer. O texto é todo baseado nisso.
Exemplo: I think it will rain / Eu acho que vai chover
Há outras formas de usá-lo também:
Para coisas decididas rapidamente no momento da fala. Exemplo: I will have lunch/ Eu vou lanchar
Para fazer uma oferta. Exemplo: I'll give you a discount if you buy it right now/ Eu vou te dar um desconto se você comprar agora mesmo
Para falar sobre recusas. Exemplo: My car won't (won't: forma negativa do will) start/ Meu carro não funciona
Na afirmativa ou negativa: sujeito + will/won't + verbo + complemento
Na interrogativa: Will/won't + sujeito + verbo + complemento
