THERE IS/ THERE ARE

There is/ there are são palavras usadas para indicar a existência de alguma
coisa. Nós usamos there is para substantivos no singular e there are para
substantivos no plural. Ex.: There is a boy in the class room. (Tem um menino
na sala de aula); There are stars in the sky tonight (Tem estrelas no céu esta
noite).
