Resposta:

3 ( x - 1 ) = 8x + 4

3x-3=8x+4

3x-8x=4+3

-5x=7

x=7/-5

4 ( 6x - 4 ) = 5 ( 4x - 1 )

24x-16=20x-5

24x-20x=-5+16

4x=11

x=11/4

4 ( x - 3 ) + 40 = 64 - 3 ( x - 2 )

4x-12+40=64-3x+6

4x+3x=64+6+12-40

7x= 42

x=6

Olá!!  :)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1.
\sf \Rightarrow \ \ 3 \ (x \ - \ 1 ) \ = \ 8x \ + \ 4 \\\\ \Rightarrow \ \ 3x \ - \ 3 \ = \ 8x \ + \ 4 \\\\ \Rightarrow \ \ 3x \ - \ 8x \ = \ 4 \ + \ 3 \\\\ \Rightarrow \ \ -5x \ = \ 7 \\\\ \Rightarrow \ \ \boxed{ \sf x \ = \ -\frac{7}{5}}
2.
\sf \Rightarrow \ \  4 \ (6x \ - \ 4) \ = \ 5 \ (4x \ - \ 1) \\\\ \Rightarrow \ \ 24x \ - \ 16 \ = \ 20x \ - \ 5 \\\\ \Rightarrow \ \ 24x \ - \ 20x \ = \ -5 \ + \ 16 \\\\ \Rightarrow \ \ 4x \ = \ 11 \\\\ \Rightarrow \ \ \boxed{ \sf x \ = \ \frac{11}{4}}
3.
\sf \Rightarrow \ \ 4 \ (x \ - \ 3) \ + \ 40 \ = \ 64 \ - \ 3 \ (x \ - \ 2) \\\\ \Rightarrow \ \  4x \ - \ 12 \ + \ 40 \ = \ 64 \ - \ 3x \ + \ 6 \\\\ \Rightarrow \ \ 4x \ + \ 3x \ = \ 64 \ + \ 6 \ + \ 12 \ - \ 40 \\\\ \Rightarrow \ \ 7x \ = \ 42 \\\\ \Rightarrow \ \ x \ = \frac{42}{7} \\\\ \Rightarrow \ \ \boxed{ \sf x \ = \  6}
