Explicação:

A regra para passar para  a forma negativa é muito simples.

Basta acrescentar o not após o verbo de estado. (To be).

was + not   = wasn't (usado com I - he - she - it

were + not = weren't (usado com we - you - they)

Simple present - verb ''to be''

are + not    =   aren't  (usado com you - we - they)

am + not    =    am not  (usado com I)
