In today's society, English is the universal language after the main countries of the world have decided that the language should be taught everywhere, to allow worldwide communication. Despite the importance, what is observed is that a good part of the population is not fluent in English. Thus, some of the challenges are the flaws in the educational system as well as the family posture. In the first analysis, it is lawful to postulate school neglect as an aggravation of the problem. In this context, the lack of investments in teachers to use English as the second universal language as well as the lack of complete materials for students such as books and handouts become barriers to become fluent and get jobs in more paid areas. As a result, it will hinder student communication in the workplace. Furthermore, it is pertinent to point out the non-incentive of families as a driver of this setback. This happens, due to poor time management on a daily basis, as families end up not accompanying their children at school and leaving aside support to learn other languages among them. English, important for job security in the near future. Therefore, knowledge is needed for parents to guide their children to learn English. Therefore, the Ministry of Education, the body responsible for the common curriculum base, should implement extra English classes in schools by encouraging families to talk to their children about the future in the labor market and teachers trained to use in order to guarantee greater number of the population fluent in the universal language. Thus, there will be more young people fluent in English communicating with people of another language.

English is the second most spoken language in the world. Undoubtedly, it is the most used in international trade relations, business, among others. The number of exchanges made to English-speaking countries is much higher than the others. In Brazil, the main destinations are the United States and Canada, and although Canada has a part where French is spoken, most exchange students go to study English.
In the globalized world, in which the large companies are multinational and the small ones are influenced by international market practices, all of them are in search of the professional who is able to understand these exchanges of services. It is not by chance that it is common for all application forms and CVs to inform whether the candidate has knowledge of English.
It is true that in Brazil we still have few people who speak English and are prepared to use it in the job market, but we can see that this has been changing, since the country is targeted by companies. We still have a lot to build, but it is good that future employees and entrepreneurs are aware that this has to be changed and that Brazilians are increasingly integrated into the international community.
