My name’s Lucy. It’s my sixteenth birthday this summer, and I’m going to have a big party.

In the morning, my friend Debbie is going to come over. She’s going to help me with the preparation for the party. We’re going to buy a lot of balloons and. Everything must look good!

My mom is going to cook the food. We’re going to have hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza and French fries. It isn't healthy, but I love party food. Debbie's mother is going to make a cake. Sara's mother is going to brink ice cream.

I’m going to invite a lot of friends. The party is going to start at about four o’clock. We’re going to play games until dinnertime. Then we’re all going to dance. My friend Rob is preparing a play list with our favorite bands and singers.

Mom says I can stay up late, and Debbie and Sarah are going to sleep over. When the party is over, we’re going to watch DVDs  if we are still awake!
