Na verdade, usa-se MANY para substantivos CONTAVEIS, e MUCH para substantivos INCONTAVEIS.

a) There was  much work yesterday.

b) There are  many old beliefs among us today.

c) There is not  much water in the bottle.

d)  Many single girls were at the dance yesterday.

e) It is  much cold today.

f) Tom works  many hours every day.

g) She speaks  many languages.

h) Is there much oil in the jug?

i) I don't drink  much coffee.

j) There is much dust on the furniture.

k) We have  many friends in England.

1) There are  many papayas in the basket.

m) She doesn't have  many skirts.​
