IN ANGELS
When I Saw an Angel
At the age of three or four, I became obsessed by angels. My mother told me that
I had a guardian angel watching over me, and I believed her, literally, I left room for my
angel" to sit down and talked to her when I was lying in bed. My mother lilled my head
with stories of the miracles and wishes granted by angels. It made me, like her a
dreamer and an optimist.
In contrast, grandnia didn't believe in anything but hard work and living to figlit
through another day. Someone always needed help, and grandma helped everyone,
know she took food and milk to some families.
As I grew up, I turned my obsession with angels into scrious study. I even wanted
to write a book proving their existence. Grandma always said "If angels exist, why don't
they protect everybody?".
Nine years ago, grandma died. I felt something vital was missing from the world,
