NEOLITHIC AGE OR THE NEW STONE AGE
Around 9000 BCE, the climate of the Earth
began to change. The temperature began to
rise and the climate became milder. It resulted
in the birth of several new plants and animals.
The growing season for plants became longer.
The hunter-gatherers of Mesolithic Age soon
learnt that new plants grew from seeds and
that different plants grew in different seasons.
They also found out that some animals were
harmless and friendly. Soon, they started
taming these animals. Gradually, they also
started growing food rather than just gathering
it. Thus, they became food producers from food
gatherers. It marked the beginning of the
Neolithic Age. in Hindi
