PFF ME AJUDA E PRA HOJEEE

Fill in the gaps with the Past Simple of the verbs in brackets and find out about the time when people from other worlds came to our planets to spend their holidays :
In the summer of 1947, many people all over the USA (SEE) U.F.O. (i.e. Unidentified Flying Objects).

In the first week of June that same year, the military (WATCH) an UFO on radar in Southern New Mexico. On the night of June 24, the radar (INDICATE) that the object (BE) around Roswell. On that night inhabitants (SAY) they (HEAR) a crash. One of them, a rancher called Brazel, (OBSERVE) a brilliant object fall to the ground, so he (RIDE) his horse with his son and (FIND) aa great amount of metal pieces which (NOT BE) common – Bazel (BEND) them and after a few seconds they (RETURN) to their initial form. Something else (CATCH) his attention – an object in the form of an egg – and it (SEEM) to have people inside.

Because of the sightings during the first part of that year, Bazel (NOT HESITATE) to think that those pieces of metal (BELONG) to a UFO wreckage, and he reported his findings to the sheriff.

A day or two later, the military (CLOSE) the site while they (CLEAR) the wreckage.

On June 18, the local press (REPORT) that a flying saucer had crashed in Roswell and that there (BE) three occupants: two (BE) dead and the third (LIVE) for a short while and that the government had kept under severe observation.

A few hours later press release (SAY) they had made a mistake and that the wreckage (BELONG) to a weather balloon. They also (STATE) that the bodies found (NOT BE) aliens but test dummies used by US Air Force in high altitude bllons for scientific research.

There are believers and non-believers. Space is a big place. Don’t you think that in the whole universe we would have to be extremely lucky to have been born on the only planet which has life?

In the summer of 1947, many people all over the USA saw U.F.O. (i.e. Unidentified Flying Objects).

In the first week of June that same year, the military watched an UFO on radar in Southern New Mexico. On the night of June 24, the radar indicated that the object was around Roswell. On that night inhabitants said they heard a crash. One of them, a rancher called Brazel, observed a brilliant object fall to the ground, so he rode his horse with his son and found a great amount of metal pieces which wasn't common – Bazel bent them and after a few seconds they returned to their initial form. Something else cought his attention – an object in the form of an egg – and it seemed to have people inside.

Because of the sightings during the first part of that year, Bazel didn't hesitated to think that those pieces of metal belonged to a UFO wreckage, and he reported his findings to the sheriff.

A day or two later, the military closed the site while they cleared the wreckage.

On June 18, the local press reported that a flying saucer had crashed in Roswell and that there were three occupants: two were dead and the third lived for a short while and that the government had kept under severe observation.

A few hours later press release said they had made a mistake and that the wreckage belonged to a weather balloon. They also stated that the bodies found weren't aliens but test dummies used by US Air Force in high altitude bllons for scientific research.

There are believers and non-believers. Space is a big place. Don’t you think that in the whole universe we would have to be extremely lucky to have been born on the only planet which has life?
