I'll call "car A" the car with the velocity of 20 m/s and the other I'll call "car B".

the distance covered by Car A:

ΔS = v \times t

ΔS = 20 \times 120

ΔS = 2400 \: m

the distance covered by Car B:

ΔS = v \times t

l

ΔS = 15 \times 120

ΔS = 1800 \: m

The distance between them:

They are moving in opposite directions, so:

S = S1 + S2

S = 2400 + 1800

S = 4200 \: m
