OBS: Os verbos da 2 estão errados porque já estão no passado, mas a conjunção do Was/were está correta

Heyo!

To perform them, keep in mind:

I → Was/Were (depends on the situation).

He/She/It → Was.

We/You/They → Were.

So that, we conclude:

1.

(C) - Because "was/were" are past form of "am/is/are".

2.

a) Were

b) Was

c) Was

d) Were

I don't know how "was/were" can fill the gaps in exercise 2, but if it was requested...

I'm sorry if wasn't what you were looking for, I didn't understand well what exercise 2 means.
