Para passar o verbo to be para negativo basta adicionar o "not" na frente.

Susie is not taking a nap

Mia and Elsa is not watching TV 

Fred is not listing to music

I'm not checking my e-mail

Maria and I'm are not talking on the phone

I am not
You are not
He is not
She is not
It is not
We are not
You are not
They are not

 be + not + verbo + ing
