Quando é com o verbo to BE, você troca as formas do passado was/were pelas formas do presente is, are, am.
Simple past → I was in the Tina's party.
Simple present → I'm in the Tina's party.
Simple past → They were on school.
Simple present → They are on school.
Simple past → You were tired.
Simple present → You are tired.
Quando o verbo é regular, você tira o ED. Se no presente o pronome for he, she, it, o verbo ganha -s, ou -es.
Simple past → She played soccer on school.
Simple present → She plays soccer on school.
Simple past → They loved Harry Potter;
Simple present → They love Harry Potter.
Quando o verbo é irregular, você tem que ter a lista de verbos:
Simple past → You sang very well.
Simple present → You sing very well.
Simple past → I was in the Tina's party.
Simple present → I'm in the Tina's party.
Simple past → They were on school.
Simple present → They are on school.
Simple past → You were tired.
Simple present → You are tired.
