Are you a student at the Yale University?
George: No, I’m not, actually. But I work there.
Doctor Sponton: Oh, really? Are you a teacher?
George: No, I work at the bookstore. . . . So, you’re

Hospital.
George: Is that difficult?
Doctor Sponton: Yeah, it is, actually. Because my job isn’t around here. It
takes me an hour to get to work from my house.

Doctor Sponton: Yeah. It is. And it’s kind of expensive, too.
George: Hey, what a surprise! This is Marty. What’s up, Marty?
Marty:George, It´s good to see you here, but please call me Arty. That’s
my nickname.
George: Arty! OK. . . . Do you know Doctor Henry Sponton?
Marty: No, I don’t know him. Hi, Mr. Sponton. How are you?
Doctor Sponton: Hi, I´m fine. I know you Arty. you’re a friend of

Marty (laughs): Yeah, I am. Uh . . . Actually, we work together. How
about you? Do you know her?
Doctor Sponton: Yeah, I know Jennifer pretty well. We’re friends
from work.
Marty: Really? Then I guess you know how old she is, right?
Doctor Sponton: Yeah, I think she’s twenty-three today.
Marty: So, hum . . . do you two like birthday cake ? I mean, Do you want
some?
Doctor Sponton: Oh, yes, please. And, uh, do you have here?
Marty: Uh-huh. It’s chocolate – my favorite. I love chocolate.
George :Oh, yeah, I do too. But I can’t eat it. I’m allergic to chocolate.
