Dengue is a serious febrile illness caused by an arbovirus. Arboviruses are viruses transmitted by insect bites, especially mosquitoes. There are four types of dengue virus (serotypes 1, 2, 3 and 4).
Dengue does not spread from person to person - it is not mosquitoes that cause the disease. Whoever made the virus, he uses this insect as a carrier and uses the human body to reproduce. The transmission of dengue occurs when Aedes aegypti bites one patient and then another victim.
