There are people Who say that the future Will be wonderful: machines Will do all of our work , we will be able to travel from New York to Paris in one hour, the world will have one government, and there will beno war.
Others say that the future will be terrible: there will be too many people¿We: there will be enough food, we will blow up the worldwith our weapons. Andthre are people who say that soon the world will end becausewe will have so many cars that no one will be able to move on the highways. They say we will all starve to death in our cars.
People worry about the future because of the problems that we have to solve: population, urbanization, energy, pollution. We will have to decide what is essential to life on earth and what is essential to our survival. If we can make these decisions now. At least we will have a future.
