Uso do was/were:
Os dois são as formas do verbo to be (ser, estar) no passado, ou seja, são os verbos era/estava. Porém, o uso de cada um depende do sujeito:
- Usamos was quando o sujeito for I, he, she ou it.
- Usamos were quando o sujeito for you, we ou they.
