When listening to someone, it's important that I always make eye contact and keep a posture where I can show that I'm interested about what the person is saying.

But when it comes to use verbal communication to demonstrate active listening, some options available to me are talking about important parts of the speaker's speech, asking questions or trying to complete some ideas that the person is trying to express.

Thus it's very likely that the individual that is speaking with me will feel that I'm into what is being said.
