Dear Diary

the last day of school finally arrived.

I thought that no one in the world would be happier than me, but as soon as I walked past the teachers' lounge I changed my mind.

I don't want to spend the holidays lying down like a useless potato, so I've already made a list of the wonderful things I plan to do this summer.

The problem is that I know that by the time I show my mom the list she's going to make that ... face and throw cold water on my plans. and will say ''Maria Beatriz, do you think I'm planting a foot of money?''

she always asks that when she has nothing more interesting to talk about.
